Rick Rowlands is restoring a 1914 5000-hp Tod horizontal steam engine, in Youngstown, OH. Its a monumental project. Visit at Todengine.org. To support the engine restoration Rick runs a small foundry, as well as collecting antique machine tools.

Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve on Maryland’s Eastern Shore dedicated to promoting the appreciation and conservation of the region’s native plants. Old Wye Mill The Old Wye Mill is located in the Town of Wye Mills, a few miles from Tuckahoe Steam & Gas.. The Old Wye Mill has been grinding grain since 1682, and produced flour to feed George Washington’s Continental army during the American Revolutionary War.
